Absolutely amazing that there was only one fatality.

I am sure his (the pilots) actions will be closely studied, much like Sully's were on the Hudson.

From the sounds of it, the one fatality was actually not a trauma injury, but a cardiac event (heart attack).

Indeed.

They doused the beginnings of flames before anything big got started.

I think that is a huge factor. The way the plane broke up, it did not turn into a fireball.
If it had, many would have never made it out of their seats.
