when i start up the sim.   I know there is a method to getting it back centered again, but scanning the 500+ pages of threads is a bit daunting when trying to find 1 that is what you NEED.

any help would be appreciated.

Get into Fly Now - and then into windowed mode.

Reduce the size of your window a bit so you can center it exactly.

Be sure you have the "prompt before exit" option enabled and then exit FS2004.  This ensures all the necessary data is written to the cfg file.

The splash normally reflects the position of FS in windowed mode.

An even faster (better) way is to edit the very first entry in your FS9.cfg file:

Location=

Just remove whatever numbers there are that follow the Location= label and FS2004 should automatically center the splash screen when you start up the sim the next time.

Hope that helps and makes sense.
