just installed FS9 on an internal 2TB drive.  I have the icon on the desktop; upon activation it displays the DC-3 but stalls at this point.
Sim was previously installed on C drive but ran out of room (really ballooned).
I like DC-3s but they're supposed to be moving, not sitting in a picture for me to look at.

Hi there. My first suggestion is to make sure the desktop shortcut is pointed to the correct location & not the old one on the C: drive. Right-click on the shortcut & select Properties to check the Target path. Delete it & create a new one if necessary.

You could also try running FS9 from the Windows Start menu or from fs9.exe in your FS9 root directory.

It probably would not hurt to run the free Registry repair tool from Flight1 - to ensure that the Registry now has the correct path to your FS2004 installation.

Good Luck!

Hagar & Opa - everything's working fine, Mr. M came up with a couple of ideas I tried yesterday and they turned out to be the right ones - the ground was burning my feet, I needed to get back into the sky and that's where I finally wound up!!!

Thanks again!

Forgot to mention - we have Iolo Sys Mech Pro installed on our machines at the house, they have registry repair activated so it's scanned for problems - however I've saved Opa's link and will check out.
