After this flight (Staurday) I was watching then classic film; "There will be Blood", with Daniel Day-Lewis. The Oilfields of Southern California in the late 1880's/early 1900's.

Had a peek for them in Google Maps: North of Bakersfield and East of Shafter, off Highway 65, in the western Sierra Nevada foothills....a nightmare wasteland of Oilfields and pipes!
Flying around them in my Sim this morning...the wonders of FS 2004!
