I haven't posted any pictures of my Daughter in a while. This summer she was training with the Atlantic City Ballet. These are some shots from a performance they did at Kennedy Plaza on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Enjoy!!
She's on the right!!

Thank you Chaps!!
Yeah, I couldn't any more prouder of her. She is very dedicated and puts a lot of hard work in. I myself can't understand how she can be on pointe for the long periods of time she is without her feet hurting but then the muscles in her feet have been trained for it. She has been on pointe since she was 9 and she is 16 now. I think the woman that runs the Atlantic City Ballet has her eye on her since she keeps inviting her back to train with them!!

Great shots! Must feel good to know your kid has discovered the joy of combining hard work, discipline, creativity, and fun. Even if she sets her sights on some different pursuit later, I think all of that will carry over to whatever she does.

WOW Cory!!! Every shot made me cringe in pain, I could not stand on a tippy toe like that, maintain a straight face, and remember to perform a dance move. But I'll shoot a terrorist at 1,000 yards with no scope!!!

It's true... my mother worked hard at ballet for many years (gave it up eventually)... she used to talk about practicing until her toes were bleeding. Worst thing is to leap and land "on point"- ouch!! I'm sure the point shoes are comfier nowadays, but still, it's brutal.
And the guys... well, we can snicker all we want but it's not easy to dash around lifting girls up with one hand, etc. for hours... got to respect that.
They make it look effortless and fairy-like but it takes huge athletic ability and willpower.
