FDS has a sale. They advertised a PC-6 for $26, usually $35.95, but at checkout it was only $21. And that was for all three versions, wheeled, amphib, and skis. Plus they had a bunch of repaints for it. They have several other models discounted, and so far, I love the PC-6. I have not found anything to complain about.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Neat! They make some nice aircraft, and apparently they are changing their notorious "reinstall" attitudes towards customers, so their sales may be worth investigating now.

I only recently became aware of the company and was/am unaware of their reinstall attitude. But I think I understand what you mean. The only thing, so far, I dislike is the Load Manager. But I can understand why they do it that way. And for those that like that sort of thing, it has it's advantages. But I found out that I did not have to use it to do a repaint and add the textures, so I'm happy.

You're welcome Truck.  Smiley
I think it is a really good deal on the Porter and am seriously considering the C337, regular price $29.95, on sale for $21.00. If it is as well made as the Porter, I will absolutely love it.

Sean, it appears they have changed their re-install attitude to "load the aircraft in 2D mode" attitude. Now I know what you meant. If they are going to sell Payware, they need to get it right before release and not just update so it will work in FSX, kinda.  Angry
It appears one really needs to do some research before purchase any aircraft, and not just rely on brand reputation. I now have three FS2004 updated to FSX Payware aircraft that puts the prop behind the clouds, A2A's P-51, FSD's C337/O2, and FSD's PC-6 Porter.
Let the buyer beware.  Angry
