I'll catch the rerun, I have Canadian satelite. And no PVR.
San Diego though, I've been there in life and the sim coming in from the East. You have to lose a lot of altitude close in, and deal with the winds on aproach. Maybe thats why its on the list?

It just seemed an odd choice, when compared to the others that made the list, almost as if they felt they had to put a USA based airport on the list.

I've never been there in real life or in the sim, but my interest in it is officially piqued now.  Wink

They said they added San Diego because of it is the busiest single runway airport in the world.  It was also the site of the 727 running into a Cessna years ago.

Really?   Cheesy  Im surprised at that statement since it is such a popular airport...

Seriously though, I was disappointed that Saba or Santos Dumont didn't make the list.  Also, how much time did they spend on LFLJ?  I think they barely said the name! Grin

It was a good show.

This whole series, in last to first order,  sounds like a topic for a series of online multiplayer flights.  Wink

After watching that, I was amazed at how accurate the payware Aerosoft Luukla scenery I have is to the real thing.  It is just about a 3-D xerox copy of a photo.... including the sloping runway.

And FLyTampa's payware Kai Tak, St. Maarten, and St. Barth are all spot on too.

best,

...............john

Yes really.  Cheesy I thought the same thing about LFLJ. Why did they even put it in if they only gave it such a brief mention?

Cool
