What scares me is that people like this are out there breeding, and voting! We are doomed. The governor of Louisiana during Katrina got on TV and asked Congress to extend daylight savings time for New Orleans to give people more daylight hours to rebuild. I don't think the people standing behind her at that news conference knew what to say after that.

I'm a little beside myself. Does this person actually believe that there is in fact one hour more of daylight than there normally would be? As in, Congress forced the sun to stay in the sky an hour longer than it should have?
Sorry for not finding it funny, but that kind of stupidity is dangerous.

This might help solve the problem-
"I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It’s not on any chart, You must find it with your heart."
Albert Einstein - "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."
Martin Luther King Jr. - “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - “There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.”
Mark Twain - “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

I think I may have mentioned it long ago...
About twenty years ago a mother called WMTW, Portland, Maine to complain about the late PM eclipse of the moon her chlidren were told they should observe.
"I should think these things could be scheduled better... my kids have to get to school in the morning!"
Do you suppose she'd been mooned by a flea (luna tic)?

I love adding that word after I have made something comical up in a Post, and I know that the statement is unlikely to be true!...

Not meaning to drag politics into the mix, and with apologies to the majority of residents of Arkansas, remember, this is the State that gave us Clinton.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
