I tried to use the iFly 747 with my new controls, Saitek yoke, throttle quad and pedals, and it doesn't work?
I get some erratic control surface movement, like a shudder but otherwise no movement to fly.
I have FSUICP4, nonregistered, and all worked well with my old joystick set up. All other default aircraft works perfect with the setup.
Any clues?

First of all, when you changed the yoke and pedals and stuff... did you re-do the assignments and calibrate the controls in Windows?
As I remember, this is a well known issue with the Sitek stuff......... particularly the yoke. I believe that a lot of peole had to send them back. I think older units were worse than newer units.... but you never know how old the unit is that you actually got; it could have been on the shelf a long time.
So some looking back in older threads hre in Hardware and also in the HOmebuild Cockpits forum section. Also do a web search for "saitek yoke" and "jitters" or "calibration issues" or something like that.
The payware version of FSUIPC works wonders with this kind of issue (and countless others). The free version does not have all that calibration and axis adjusting feature activated as I remember.
best,
............john
EDIT: Oops... just noticed that the default stuff works OK. That changes everything. Let me think a while.
