Hi all,
hope you enjoy viewing these.
Not as clear as the others but using still photo function of a video camera, good for close brightly lit stuff, but not for fast stuff like... erm planes.

Above shot is of the Turkish Air Force Display team.

So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change Smiley

Nice perspective on the shots, shame the video camera could not deliver.
I saw the Turkish Stars at the Dutch Air Force display in Holland a couple of weeks ago. They were limited to a reduced display due to the weather. A good display, but what did you think of the Stars commentator? He was so OTT I though he would have his own personal orgasm in the commentary box Huh............"These men are not pilots, not birds, but glorious heroes of the skys" Undecided

Hi Matt,

I agree, the stars guy was ott, not easy easy taking piccies while your laughing  Grin

Well no more Turkish voices till sept, off for holiday.
Last year we were taxing in and I saw the F16's parked up, I rushed to get camera ready then realised where I was and quickly put it away Embarrassed

Where we stay in Marmaris, they come down the valleys and out over the bay then go ballistic.

I may have some good views on the video side from Waddington from this year that I can get some good frames from.
One thing the camera is good for if you have a tripod is the zoom - it's 3500X on video or 100 which I used on these shots freehand.

I've got some from last year with the old bird in the foreground and the Lanc behind - don't tell the wife!

Used to love Finningley but then it was my second home Smiley

I could agree about the spit, the Typhoon is clearer therefore it's slower  Wink

Good to see the two together.
Vulcan and lancaster were good 2 years ago.
