My PC i7 920 Tech Spec, is posted below. My only tweak is adding a buffer pool-size of 400. When comparing FSX performance after setting up with Nhancer or with the Nvidia Control Panel, I see no difference. My performance is outstanding with either and a little less complicated with the Nvidia control panel.

My understanding of Nhancer is that it doesn't actually do anything other than activate features that are already present in the Nvidia driver. It allows you to modify your game profiles using settings that are in the driver but aren't normally accessible

My only conclusion is that lower end PCs benefit from the improved game profile editing that Nhancer provides while PCs running near 4GHz and with a high end Nvidia video card, run just fine set up with the Nvidia Control Panel. Setting up Nhancer can be confusing even following guidelines from an outside source.

As for me, Iv'e been fussing with Nhancer since my last upgrade one year ago to my current PC configuration. I am running at max settings for my config and enjoy smooth high res performance flights anywhere with or without Nhancer. I have installed Nhancer three or more times over the past year attempting to get a better flight envelope and each time ending up with no improvement. I am presently set up with the Nvidia Control Panel.

The above is just for information and not intended for anyone to make changes to their setups
