Ever since I was kid I've loved helicopters since the time an old Bell 47 landed in our schoolyard. I used to pretend I was flying one as I sat in a lawnchair under my mom's clothesline, and went up in one for the first time in the mid 1970's in a Jet Ranger during a visit to the Wisconsin Dells.
