Ok, working on the Cheetah CFG contact points, I have a problem that the aircraft "falls" to the runway everytime I load it. My contact points are spot on. I know this, because I added temporary lights in the cfg and altered their position until it is exactly under each wheel. then I changed the contact points of the wheels too the same as the lights.
but despite of that, it stll havee the same problem. it is like the aircraft is loaded at a different height and then drops to mother earth Sad

any idea why? dont have this problem with any other aircraft

I don't remember the cause or fix, but there is a thread here with that problem, and the solution.

I can't seem to string together the correct set of words to make the search engine find the thread,
so I'm going to just have to search page by page until I find it.  Wink

Found it.  Wink

Thread with the same issue:

The fix from that thread:

I'm quite sure you can fix the crashing problem by revising one or two values in the aircraft.cfg file. Under the section named Contact_Points, the following need attention:

static_cg_height =
static_pitch =

The current values are where the aircraft is initially positioned before any of the contact points are used. Experiment first with the height value -- later you can fine tune both numbers until you're satisfied.

Please let us know if this was helpful

Great it worked thanks!! i've played with those  earlier, but before I got the bright idea of checking my contact points with lights at the same position  Smiley Of course I was way out!
