They've got Nascar & MotoGP, but no F1.
Cool link though! Definitely in the bookmarks now.
Thanks.

When that little voice in the back of your head is screaming,
"DON'T PICK HIM!!!"
You should probably listen.
I think some drivers were sandbagging in P3.

I'm comfortable with my picks.
Shane. P2 is the best idea for quali pace. P3 is usually used by the quicker teams for race setup and they do more shorter runs in p2.

I'm happy with mine, I just thought for sure after P2,
that Kubica was going to at least start in the top 3 or 4,
especially with the way Hamilton had run in all three sessions,
so it really surprised me that Hamilton did as well as he did in qualifying.
Something kept telling me to take Hamilton over Kubica, and I should have listened to myself.

I think the biggest surprise was Mercedes GP. Thought they had an improved package, seems like they took a step backwards? I can understand Schumi not qualifying that great, considering he has never driven on the Valencia circuit, but Rosberg?
Good to see Williams making it to the top 10, they needed that boost in confidence.
Less than 1 hour till race start.

It would appear as though the US is not allowed to watch this one.
Speed channel is doing other things.
Live timing is so not as exciting as getting to watch it.

Woah, massive accident involving Mark Webber and Heikki Kovalainen at over 200mph, both drivers are fine. Webber's car got airborne and flipped before crashing into the tyre barriers.

Should produce some lively debate as to fault. On a brighter not, best overtake of the whole race, Kobayashi getting past F1's professional whinger on the last lap and then to add Buemi on the last corner. Alonso spent more time complaining about other drivers that racing. Also adds more safety car questions, is the white line part of the pit lane or the race track. Seems that Hamilton was rather unsure. And finally, if you are too fast to the pits you get a penalty and just for good measure, if you are too slow we will have you too. You will need a masters degree to understand this

The delta times were brought in because people were whinging about the fact that lining up behind the safety car then pitting was unfairly penalising drivers.
I'm rather annoyed because if Alonso had just bothered to drive flat out instead of moaning about hamilton, I'd be looking at a 30 point haul today if the penalties issued are time penalties. Oh well, great move by Kobayashi.
As for Webber/Kovi. I dont think anyone is at fault, Webber tried to get a tow, Kovi's top speed was quite clearly a lot lower than Webber was expecting at he hit him. Since they were fighting for position its hard to fault anyone. I would say this is perfect ammo for those not wanting to see these stupid rules next year with the rear wing changes and KERS back. Thats the sort of closing speeds we'll see down the grid.

How about that Kobayashi? I think he earned his ride with those last few laps.

He showed some of what got him that seat in the first place, after driving for toyota last year. About time to, great bit of driving to.
And once again the FIA and their stewards have decided to bring about a farce penalty. Those 9 drivers under investigation for the delta time problems have been given a 5 second penalty.
The problem with that, is that no-where in the FIA rule book does it state they can give a 5 second penalty. It's either a 20 second penalty in lieu of a drive through or 30 seconds if it would have been a stop/go penalty.
Once again this just stinks of a poorly run system. Not wanting to bring up old situations, but in the schumi monaco incident, the FIA admitted their rules were too unclear, and yet gave schumi a 20 second penalty, if they can just suddenly pull times out their backsides like these 5 second ones, I dont understand why they couldn't have given michael a time penalty that would have dropped him back behind Alonso.
They are just unbelieveable at times.

If anyone is interested, here is a video of the horrible Webber Kovalainen crash:

As soon as I saw the accident I knew there would be remarks about Red Bull giving you wings.
