The BBMF Spitfire Mk LFIXe arrived before the show. It must have had technical problems as it didn't take part in the display. I was lucky to get this quick shot.
...

Two Hurricanes put on a lively display. Peter Vacher's Mk I.
...

Followed by Peter Teichman in his Mk IIB 'Hurri Bomber'.
...

The Wings Venture C-47. This is based at Kemble & has quite a history.
...

The RNHF still seems to be having bad luck with its aircraft. No Swordfish again but fortunately the Kennet Aviation Seafire Mk.XVII came along instead.
...

The BBMF Dakota was left to hold the fort.
...

The beautiful Spitfire Mk Ia operated by Sheringham Aviation.

Your first pic with the later model Spit shows the prop pitch to perfection - what a huge bite those blades took.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
