I went to my first air display of the season on Sunday at Kemble which is now named Cotswold Airport. The weather was brilliant for once & it was a pretty good show. I'm a little out of practice with the camera which showed up in my photos. Here's some of the better ones. First of all, the jets.

Vampire T.11 from the Vampire Preservation Group.
...

The RAF Tucano in its new markings to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
...

Lots of privately owned Jet Provosts on display. This one is a T.3.
...

Classic Jets magnificent Hunter T.7.
...

The Viper display team with four Strikemasters.
...

Air Atlantique Classic Flight brought two Venoms. This is one of them. I didn't get a decent shot of the other one.
...

...

Finally the Typhoon. Very noisy & very impressive. My ears are still ringing.

Beautiful photos! I especially like the rather anachronistic paint scheme on that Tucano. Smiley

Hi Doug, I wish I'd realised you were going to be there, I would have sought you out to say hi  Smiley

Lovely shots, we had to get off before the Seafire display, so we missed the last few acts. Would have like to have seen that Venom pair  Wink

Cheers

Very nice pics! I love that Tucano, so aggressive for a prop plane!

You should see the pictures (or rather not) I took at the Dutch Air Force display last week. A grey crappy low cloud day with showers. Lots of Grey aircraft against a grey sky. I am still trying tweek them. They may or may not make an appearance here. You are being to self critical Doug.
