My First Memeories of the Airport are Vague, but the one thing I do remember is the way the Captain of the British Airways flight so gently placed his A320 on the runway at Birmingham Intl that afternoon. I watched him put it down from the Restaurant, Smiled, and from that moment onwards I knew what I wanted to do with my life! He is my Hero.

The British Airways A320 Soars through the Clouds above the English countryside.

"For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, For there you have been and there you long to return...."

Great shot SmileyThis is what I really like though...
"For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, For there you have been and there you long to return...."
Your quote? Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

No, it's not "diverskii's" quote, it was made by Leonardo Da Vinci.  Wink
