... on the road again. Now this was an interesting leg.

aproaching Vagar on the Faroe Islands. Beautiful place, but very windy

Midnight sun over Vagar. The freeware scenery for the Faroe Islands is really stunning.

Took an extra lap around the Islands that night

Leaving the next morning.

On the way

Arriving in Isafjördur. Some call it the "Kai Tak of the north". Certainly one of the more interesting approaches. You have to fly along the edge of the fjord to turn into a very short final.

Great shots Manuel. The sky in #3 is magnificent.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I love the feel of the last shot. You can tell it's going to be really cool from that point on. The angle really helps to feel the motion.
