Actually, John...

A Ducati is the most impractical Bike you could ever come across for every-day use... Wink...!
Their gear ratios are unsuitable, their dry clutches rattle, and they cost an arm and a leg to maintain....

..but they look wonderful parked in the front driveway!... Grin...!

Paul.... Grin...!

...but I would still like a red one...on my Mantle-piece.... Kiss...!

Lamborghini Reventon, preferably with a touch-screen MFD on the dash, full carbon-fiber and titanium honeycomb composite construction, a big forward-swept spoiler, convertable hard-top, and two GE T701Ds.  Grin Cheesy
Although I think I might rip the car apart with the 6x hp of my T701Ds. Grin

Do Ducati have any plans to make a nice looking motorbike? Lambo and Ferrari have it down with their cars.

Not much into cars, though my ex-boss had a fully restored 68 Olds Cuttlass I drove a few times and fell in love with Smiley  I could go for most old American muscle cars. Wink

What I really want, an 87 3/4 ton or 1 ton Chevy 4x4, long bed, diesel, and painted dark hunter green Cool  One of these days I plan to find one in decent shape and restore it.  Why an 87, just because I want something from the year I was born, and I like that body style Tongue

Bike (even though i dont have a license for that)
BMW R1200GS

Finally a good choice! Just drove one 2 weeks ago - didn't want my R100GS back...

For a car it would maybe be a Lancia Delta HF Evo

After spending two days with Ducati's up at Cadwell, i can appreciate them for what they are... This will also answer this quote from a few posts ago:

Where as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki are Road bikes made to be Race Replica's (if you can't afford to get the top of the range version), Ducati's are Racing bikes Made for the road, hence there gear ratio's etc, Costing an arm & a leg to maintain is really only the Belt's and Valves as there rather fiddly to repair..

...and I guess they'll get even more pricey - Valentino Rossi has signed a 2-year-contract with Ducati for the MotoGP!  Wink

well I guess I would take a jeep wrangler same as what I have now.

I would add all of the power options, ie power windows/locks and swap out the automatic transmission to a 6 speed manual.  would also include a hard top for the winter as well as the upgraded stereo to one that includes the nav system and built in HDD.

After that add some Wrangler durra trac a/t tires and a bestop trektop soft top for the summer I'd be ready to go.

I'm pretty realistic in my desires...for the most part

Car:
2011 Ford Mustang GT(Shelby Cobra version would be nice)

Bike:
Suzuki GSXR1000

I would like to get to drive a Ferrari 575, but I don't think I'd ever buy one, even if I could.  I know a couple of guys that have/had Ferraris and Lambos, they truly are junk.  They might look nice, sound awesome, and be fast, but they fall apart.
