The first time I remember flying was when I was about 8 or 9 years old and a friend of my Dad took me flying with my brothers, I don't remember exactly what kind of plane it was, just that it was a small twin prop. My strongest memory was the awe in seeing how small the world looked from up there, and that is the feeling I have attempted to recreate!

...

Hope you like it,

Matthew

A very rare shot this one,

loads of ground & plane details, the color red, fantastic cloud textures, under 150kb, and no apparent loss of quality due to compression.

Excellent job on this shot.  Smiley

Thanks for all the positive feed back guys! I was worried about compression as I had to compress it fairly heavily, but it seemed to manage it ok Smiley

Hey that's a great shot. I've already entered my picture in the contest. But just for future references, you couldn't tell me how to upload my pictures without loosing their quality from compression could you? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

This link should be helpful: http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1268695162 - Hagar kindly made several tutorials going over the process in 4 different programs. I actually use a program not on that list (Photofiltre - http://photofiltre.en.softonic.com/) but it doesn't really matter which one you use! just whichever one you're most comfortable with Smiley
