Just had a 3-day work trip to Tunisia. Flew from Brussels to Tunis and back on the Tunis Air A320... some thoughts...

IAE V2500 are extremely loud on take off, when you are seated right next to them... lol

Sounds like this...

Experienced my first go around. The pilot announced touch down in 2 minutes at Tunis airport, then threw in full thrust and pulled up. Scared my collegue who never heared of a go around before. Strange... normally I'm the one who's nervous... lol

Somehow strange to hear "insha'Allah" (If Allah wants it so) in the arabic messages from the pilot. I'd rather thought insha'Pilot.

Grin

All in all a great airline. Good service and more leg room then I ever had on any former flights!

Blimey!... Shocked...!

That was LOUD!...I had to turn the volume right down to prevent a blinding headache!

Not the sort of irritating noise I would like to experience during a long flight!

(Low frequency rumble + high frequency scream)

(I prefer the gentle clatter of my little Cessna 150!).... Wink... Grin...!

Paul... Grin... Grin...!

..a last minute; "go around" is a bit scary, as well!... Shocked... Shocked...!

....I think I will avoid "real aeroplanes"!..... Roll Eyes... Wink... Grin...!

I don't think it's really loud... I think it's just annoying. Anyhow, such noise can cause fatigue, which isn't that great. I mean, you're tired enough after a long flight, why would you want something during your flight contributing to your level of tiredness. Not cool. They should probably check into that.
