CAM (Chief Aircraft Mechanic)


Position Title: CAM

Current Holder of Position: Vacant

Position Description: The CAM is the head of our aircraft department. Their job is to ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained, painted, and up to date. The CAM is in charge of all aircraft mechanics that work for Patriot East Virtual Airways.

Position Salary: $150,00/yr

Actual Duties:

- Ensure there are no technical (FS) related issues with our aircraft.

- Conduct test flights of all new aircraft received by Patriot East Virtual Airways.

- Keep logs of flight hours accumulated by all aircraft, and make reports on aircraft conditions for the CEO/COO.

Position Requirements:

- At least 14 years of age

- Active e-mail

- Must be able to check e-mail frequently (at least once a day)

- Must have accumulated 200+ hours on VATSIM or in FS *must be verifiable *exceptions are made

Public Relations Manager


Job Title: Public Relations Manager

Job Description: The Public Relations Manager (PRM) is in charge of all aspects of the virtual airline that involve the public. This person will work directly with the CEO and COO to ensure that Patriot East Virtual Airways is well shown and advertised to the public. The PRM will suggest and create ideas for branding of the virtual airline.

Job Salary: $150,000/yr

Actual Job Duties:

- Assist the CEO in creating press releases

- Assit the CEO in posting press releases

- Create media for press releases and the website (photos, videos, etc.)

- Suggest ideas to the CEO and COO involving the "image" of the airline

Requirements:

- Active e-mail account that can be checked almost every day

- Must be able to create images for the website with assistance from the CEO

- Preferably be able to create in game videos with assistance from the CEO

Position Title: Hub Manager

Current Position Holder for Boston Hub: Vacant

Current Position Holder for St. Louis Hub: Vacant

Position Description: The hub manager(s) of Patriot East Virtual Airways are the 'backbone' of the management structure. There is one hub manager per hub operated by Patriot East Virtual Airways. The job duties of a hub manager are as follows:

- Accept all questions from pilots stationed at their hub, and either a.) answer the question to the best of their ability or b.) forward the question to a higher member of management who is better suited to address the question.

- Check and verify all flight hours registered by pilots stationed at their hub.

- Report weekly to the COO on the status, statistics, and general operation of the hub they are in charge of.

- Approve LOA requests as needed and as doctrined by the Patriot East Virtual Airways Official Operations Manual.

- Give general assistance to all pilots stationed at their hub.

Position Salary: $120,00/yr

Position Requirements:

- Good people skills (Must be friendly)

- Must be able to check e-mail frequently (at least once a day)

- Must be able to communicate with higher members of management easily
