Sometime ago we put together an Avon Sabre CA-27 package for our Aussie pilots (OK, our only Aussie pilot...Ravenna), and an airfield for them to fly from.   However, we did not give her a complete armament, which included special pylons to carry the AIM-9 Sidewinder.  Now we're correcting that with a new DP, pylon set and 8-second timed AIM-9 missile.   She'll  be ready for posting soon. 

The Nationalist Chinese F-86s also used this setup to combat Chinese MiGs over Quimoi and Matsu in the late 50's.

You know we (Bub & I) enjoy spoiling you, Michael!  It ain't everyday that I create a custom pylon BGL and DP for a bloke downunder, Sunny Jim.   

I actually managed to sneak up on a MiG-15 and downed it with this weapon.....it takes some practice, like the FW190 timed rocket in CFS1.
