If it doesn't already appear in the list, I add this line under the: [Brakes] entry in the aircraft.cfg.....

[brakes]
parking_brake = 1       //Parking brake available
toe_brakes_scale = 1.0  //Brake scalar
differential_braking_scale = 1.0  // rudder activated differential brakes

Applies the brakes differentially, when using the Twist Joystick to control the Rudder, together with quick bursts of power from the engine(s).

Tail-draggers are notoriously difficult to steer accurately in the direction you wish them to go!... Wink...!

Sudden bursts of power using alternate engines, and to blow air over the Rudder is required to get them to turn...and then its often too much!...(Ground-looping!).... Embarrassed...!

Paul...I love "Tricycles"....(Steerable nose-wheels!).... Grin...!

Meh... a little practice, especially with differential thrust (even when using only one throttle device and key commands to switch engines), and it's not that hard to taxi even the Tri-Motor.
It's not easy, mind you, but it just takes a little practice.
a steerable tailwheel on a DC-3... sacrilege!!  Angry   Wink

Practise, smactice.....it now steers thanks to stewpot's tip, without all this 'one throttle device & key command' fiddle faddle.  You'll be saying next I should disable/remove the Auster's AP........ Cheesy Shocked Roll Eyes

The answer is to invest in a new joystick with twist-grip rudder. Wink
