I guess anything is possible, I once saw footage of a guy landing a c130 on a carrier during the Vietnam war on TV. Smiley

Considering the unrealistic barking of the default 747, that doesn't seem too far off.

Beautiful and awesome shots btw. Shocked Shocked

Your shots are always realistic, but when you through these in, it's just weird.  Grin As usual, colors are great, very nice.

me thinks that motoryacht in pic 1 is a little TOO close.  May want to keep an eye on him.    Excellent set!   I just dont want to be anywhere near those cats when you try to launch... I see schrappnel all over the deck from here!!

Yeah, that'd shear the landing gear of a normal 747 right off.
I don't know if the VC-25 has strengthened landing gear.

Guys, come on, I was only foolin' around, tryin' to make something...different, you now Cheesy. Of course I wasn't able to land the 747 there, (remember? I don't even have a driver's licence!) I just put it there and thought it would maybe look, as I said,...different, and hoped to raise a smile.

There are highly paid people in Los Angeles, CA who're wishing this was their idea.  Air Force one - landing on a carrier in an emergency - in 3D.  With a cast of thousands - I personally like Lindsay Lohan as the young ensign in charge of hangar deck morale.
