I want Mike Stone's AT9 to park at a Small Ramp with the assigned code of CAT (for Curtis AT) & have added this to the
cfg: atc_parking_types=Ramp & atc_parking_codes=CAT - however,  it persists in using a Ramp in a blast pen.   When I changed that
parking to Mil_Combat it moved to another Ramp!!

I've assigned a camoflaged Auster & a Dakota to parking & they park as I expected.  Has anyone any ideas as to what's going on & why it won't go to it's assigned parking   Huh

I assume you are speaking of AI aircraft.

Did you also add the code to the parking space itself - using the AFCAD program?  It is not enough to just add it to the aircraft.cfg file.

Also the radius of the parking spot in question must be at least as large as the radius of the aircraft in question.  The aircraft editor in the AFCAD program will display what the aircraft's radius is so you can match them.

Well, I use it as AI & haven't had any problems before.
Oh yes - the parking was edited with AFCAD & the radius of the AT9 is 24ft (8m) & the Ramp is 32ft.  I tried a Medium Ramp to no avail.   As I've said the 2 Austers & Dak go to assigned parking, but not the AT9.........I get irritated when things don't work as expected & can't work out what I've done wrong, or not done  Shocked

If you have done all the right things to match a/c with parking space, try moving the allocated parking up the list in the  ...list/parking menu. The plane may just be fitting itself to the first parking it finds.
