Sorry if this is a repeat. Is there an effect for when you break the sound barrier?FSX Thanks Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

There is a sonic boom effect in the FS2004 misc section. It comes with 4 or 5 different effects also. It works in FSX, I tried it. The ONLY problem with it is you have to hit the "I" key twice to make it work. Angry

I went outside once. The graphics weren't all that great.

Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.

I think he's looking for a mach cone.  Example, http://jazzroc.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/mach-cone-b-17.jpg.  There is an F-14 tomcat with exactly the same effect you're looking for in the FSX military section.  http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2.cgi?section=military&file=fsxf14d3.zip.  Extract the effects, add the gauges to your aircraft, and add the light to the aircraft.cfg.  I think there is a help file for it in the zip.  Post back if you need help.

Edited:
It's not just the mach cone, it has a nice boom to it, also.  It's an xml gauge, so it's compatible with fsx and fs9.

Asus G71GX-RX05 from BestBuy.     2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 (Very easily overclocked by 15%, 25% for xtreme live-or-die sessions),
6GB of 800MHz DDR2 RAM       1GB GDDR3 Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M     500GB 5400 RPM SATA-150 HDD, w/ 2nd drive bay.  All for only $1300!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!

...

Help stop this scum from infiltrating the games we know and love!
