Does someone knows where I can get the information for basic XML gauge scripting? When effects are added to the lights in the CFG, you have a effects.xml gauge, whereto you refer from your panel.CFG. That effect script basicly controls the effects, if I am right?

Where can I find the basics of that script?

Okay, I'm not following so much . . .

Are you wanting to edit the aircraft CFG, panel CFG, gauge file or effect?

All of the above can be done with Notepad, and you will need the appropriate SDK to read.

MS FS9 SDKs

Here is a site that has some tutorials on XML both for true gauges and gauges that are used to trigger effects:

http://www.fs2x.com/Tutorials.htm

I write a lot of XML gauges that invoke effects, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I can also send you several examples.
