Hi,

Can anyone tell me the best settings for my XFX ATI 5850 to play FSX?

I've always used an nvidia 8800gt with nhancer, but now i've upgraded.

Thanks,

Keith.

Try this, it's for FS9, but seems to work for me....

....and here's an ATI guide, I haven't done much with it as of yet:

So far I'm getting excellent performance, locked at 25fps, sliders up near max and smoooooth!   Wink

Use Nicks guide(s), if you haven't already, follow it exactly as he says, it works!

Every system is different, dependent on how you set it up, so you may have to tweak the Catalyst a bit.

If you find something, or settings that works, please let me know!

I just found out the existence of Tray Tools earlier today. I've been having problems with my 5970 and I believe it is simply due to settings. I will need to read all this carefully but I think it may solve a lot of my problems.
