Here are a few shots I took from the mountainside behind my brother's house. We packed a small cooler with some frosties and hiked up the mountain a bit to watch the lights of Vegas turn on.

I think its funny that when you were taking those pictures I may have actually been on the Strip.  If you look very closely at the Luxor (the pyramid), maybe you can see me waving!   Grin

When I look at all those houses in the photos, I wonder what all those Folks do for a living.
They cant all work in the "Strip", and there's not a lot of anything else in the depths of the Nevada desert, apart from Sand, Rattle Snakes, and Tumbleweeds!

Paul...every curious!... Wink... Wink...!

Well, just a short list of occupations my friends that live in Vegas have, architect, animal vet, store manager, and office furniture delivery.   Grin

My nephew lives in one of those houses, he works for Brinks and picks up cash at several casinos.     Smiley
He wears a side arm, (holster and handgun), his grandmother does not like this! ( My mother!)   Wink

Very cool set, especially Red Rocks... I wish I'd had time to venture outside the city the one time I was there.
