The Redrock Mountains are just West of where my brother lives, about a 20 minute drive. We spent the 1st day there exploring these awesome mountains that are red due to the iron that was in the water when these mountains were under water.
Here is a view from the top!
The Las Vegas Strip behind me.
Heading back down
Almost down.
This is why they call them The Redrocks.

I'm trying to pick up the site on Google Maps.
In the 2'nd Photo, are you standing to the North/South/East/West of Las Vegas Strip, behind you?

I know Ken! My brother did manage to bring me to a great plane spotting area at McCarran. Got some shoots there at least.
