Just wanted to cruise around the Channel islands today in my C185. What a beautiful weather and scenery, wouldn't you agree?
C&C welcomed!

Channel Islands - Alderney, by Earth Simulations.
Georgous scenery with so many little animations to make it a very "living" scenery. I recommend it highly. I think it was one of the first payware I ever bought.

Beautiful shots!
I have some problems with the autogen on Alderney because of FTX. Don't no if that can be fixed.

Yeah the autogen is a little screwy for me as well. Autogen turned to the max doesn't look like the screens on Earth Sim's website as far as the number of trees and everything. I was wondering if maybe I should mess with the .cfg files and boost up the LOD... Also, with UTX Europe the island was surrounded by default ground texture, the sea was much further away. I think it had something to do with the order the addons were installed but I ended up removing UTX Europe completely for this session.
Let me know if you ever find something out about that autogen.

Is the scenery frame-friendly with FSX?

Everything is dependent on your system really. For me, yes there was a drop, but not much, I still enjoy smooth flights. You can tweak your graphics settings to make it better but honestly it wasn't bad at all, I maybe dropped 5fps maximum at times, but on average maybe 2fps under normal, or even same as normal. It is an easy scenery because there isn't much land, it's a small island so the settings of your water and weather will be what affects your fps the most.
