If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Wonderful Pic #4...

Just look at that clear, cold stream, just begging for a Canadian Canoe to be launched on it!...!

I often Sim Fly the route from Merced to Mono Lake following highways 140/41 in the Yosemite National Park, and it never looks as impressive as it does in real photographs!

Truck's pics are better than the one in that link Paul. Maybe he should offer to sell them some.

Edited:
Dang I feel stupid. After posting this before the edit, I looked at my post count and then noticed, since I had two posts together, that they were the same. I thought, 'wait a minute, that's not right the first one should be one less than the second one'. And then it hit me.  Roll Eyes Embarrassed  Cheesy   Grin

Smiley  Thanks guys!

Paul, I've been by Mono lake a few times myself, we train our reservists up there every year in Bridgeport.

During my Flight Sim trip from Merced (KMCE), following the river canyon to Bryant (O57) Bridgeport, on the edge of California, I spotted the Airfield "Sweetwater USMC" (NV72) on my Map a few miles away in Nevada, and I thought "USMC"?..that sounds like "US Marine Corps", and I thought of you and your trips up there!
I love Google "Street Mapping" the area I am going to Sim Fly around beforehand, to view the terrain around me!
Its amazing, the obscure places that that Google "Camera Car" has travelled!

Paul...Flight Sim California Traveller!.... Grin...!
