Corrected I.D. of aircraft from TU-152 to TU-154
Regrads, Mike Wink

Freeware, FSX acceleration scenery. I always like a plane in takeoff with 95% N1.

Got to love the power of the Tu-154. You should consider entering my Judge's Choice with this shot or similar, just make sure the aircraft is a Tupolev. Wink

Correction:

I have realized this aircraft is NOT a TU-152 but a TU-154.

The Tu-154 is powered by three rear-mounted low-bypass turbofan engines arranged similarly to those of the Boeing 727, and is slightly larger than its American counterpart. Both the 727 and the Tu-154 use an S-duct for the middle (Number 2) engine. The original model had Kuznetsov NK-8-2, while the Tu-154M has Soloviev D-30KU-154 engines. All Tu-154 aircraft models have a higher thrust-to-weight ratio than that of the 727 this gives them superior performance, although at the expense of poorer fuel efficiency, which became an important factor in later decades as fuel costs grew.

If you like jet power download this aircraft and it has nice details. and sound.

I realize the takeoff or the angle of attack is steep but wanted to show the dynamics and performance of jet power and this aircraft has it.

Best Regards,

Mike Wink

Looks nice.
Interesting to see it in FSX wtih a Soviet livery. I'm guessing it's the "Vitamin" model with the PT panel and sounds?

I don't know how well the systems logic transfers in FSX, but if you are interested in a procedural trainer with full VC for this plane, try the "Project Tupolev" Tu-154M in FS2004!

Thanks Sean for the info. I will check it out.

Here is the address for this plane. It comes with two liveries: Siberia and Aeroflot also has a nice panel.

Do you know if you can add smoke to screenshots?

This is a great forum for learning more about aircraft.
