"Tiny"? That strip is almost a mile long!!    Cheesy

But that's good for takeoffs there (high altitude).

Sure, it's a little narrow, but there's plenty of room for the wings.  Grin

This pilot is smart- even though he has more than twice the runway a 172 might need to land, he flies that dogleg around the trees to land as short as possible, just in case he has to go around after touching down.

What's really tricky about landing at any back-country strip in the mountains is the surrounding terrain... especially if there's any wind.

And so was the writer, I guess... but still, it's not like there's runway lights, signs, approach lighting, like you get with a nice, wide runway!  Grin
