Download problem (Read 724 times)

Been trying to download the FSXA T6-Texan, a 24.7mb file at FSX Props P60. After download, when trying to unzip, it advises corrupt or invalid header file - continue anyway? I end up with only a partial file.

THIS IS NOT A PANAM CLIPPER

No problems here. Which software are you using to extract the file?

Hagar and Steve. I'm using Izarc and it does unzip but less than a megabyte shows up - the acft.cfg is the only useable item. There's this in the file name 1[1].1 - the brackets don't look like they belong but deleting doesn't fix anything.

The file name is FSDS_T6_VER1.1.zip. The file size is 24.6 Mb. I extracted it successfully with various software including IZArc. I can only suggest you try downloading it again.

Thanks Hagar - just checked and it's been changed. It was previously called FSXA T6-G Texan ver 1[1].1 and it was 24.7 mb. Weird - it hasn't changed on my computer but it's OK on my wife's. I'm using IZarc and my download window shows it as 'FSDS_T6_VER1[1].1.zip......IZarc ZIP Archive 24.6mb. My wife has the built-in WinXP/home zip and it shows 'FSDS_T6_VER1.1.zip........Compressed zip folder 24.6mb. Somehow, having IZarc installed seems to be producing the corrupt zip heading. To make a long story short, I downloaded on her machine to disk, walked it over to mine - uploaded to my downloads file and IZarc took it from there
