Carenado! Yep, I finally bit the bullet. Can anyone say 'tax refund'?
Thanks for looking.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I think you should go stand in the corner for a hour...
Wow...I shall never post a shot again, I shall just look at your amphibious bugsmashers and drool all over my keyboard....
Gosh Darn, I wonder where that first shot was taken, HMMM....
Going to go and cry in my beer now...see what you have done Larry?....
Wonderful shots...love that first one....keep it up....

Thanks Doug.
And thank you for making me aware of Snow Dogs, I love it. As for crying in your beer, you have nothing to cry about. You've been posting some great shots. But on the other hand, I like a little salt in my beer.
But your statement about drooling over my bugsmasher, reminds me I need to hide from olderndirt. I think he was complaining about them coming out with the amphib after he got the float version. He's likely to be somewhat upset.

Thanks.
But I can't take credit, it's all Carenado and FSX/FS Water Configurator.
But now I'm grounded.
My X52 is dead in the water. And unlike Dell sending me a replacement monitor (which is
FINALLY
going to be delivered today) and then me sending the other one back, I have to ship off the X52 to Saitek and sit on my thumbs until they repair or replace it. Haven't been a keyboard cowboy in a loooooooooong time. Doubt I will do much flying for a while.

I don't really know, but I think it developed a short in the twist (z rotation). It started with the rudder becoming extremely sensitive. And then this morning, it started cycling through the views as if I were holding down the 'S' or 'A' key. And I did not even have my hands on it or the keyboard at the time. I unplugged it and the game went back to normal. I've gotta send it back to Saitek tomorrow for repair or replacement.

I agree with you. And having the amphib, floats, wheel skis and tundra tires with four liveries doesn't hurt either. Not bad for $19 USD.

Great choice of aircraft, and equally great choice of shots! Wow, only $19 for that? May have to get that one myself!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I'm really pleased with it.

To paraphrase your avatar - "What me upset?" My little lament was that they had issued the first 185 package - all wheels, even wheel pants
and, of course, I bit. Then along comes your package, the taste was still in mouth so I bit again. I recognize your amphib - almost issued a stolen aircraft report
.

DIN cable troubles I see!
I had the same problem, bought a new DIN cable and it was fixed.
