I recently loaded FSX Acceleration in one of my PCs however, after typing in the Code written on the package, it won't allow activiation. I checked to make sure I am submitting the code in the package but still no joy. Who do I have to contact in MS about this problem?

Is this your first time activating it? I ask because there is a limit on how many times you can activate it.

Acceleration can be activated as many times as you wish.
After the third time you have to contact MS via Email or phone. Not sure but I think I called a help number from a Microsoft web site.  Smiley

Wrong! You can activate a million times Aceleration or FSX
In the same machine or PC
if you try to use the DVDs in  another PC or by change drasticly any of the hardware like the CPU or motherboard you can do it two times only,..this is to avoid 1 game in multiple PCs= Piracy
1 game = the hardware will be register for one machine and so you can format your drives a million times and then activate and I think you can change O/S too, keeping the same machine and hardware.(the video card is not included neither the memory size <ram> you can change them No problem )

Actually Alrot might be correct..

Looks like when I rebuild my PC (new motherboard) I might be stuck buying FSX Gold.   Undecided
I'll still call MS and plead my case. The first PC I installed it on was within minimum specs and it sucked.

I've installed FSX +Accel on 4 different systems until I got it on the one I use now. Had NO problem moving to different system or activating. Has to camm MS on the last one - took about 3 minutes - no issues.

Thats a good thing to hear. Mine is on the third system. (totally different hardware each time) My PC tech did install #3 so I wasn't sure if that counted into the equation.

I was able to contact MS Tech Support and they pointed out my mistake when I tried activating. The last letter of the second set of five alpha-numeric sets I had the number "2" written out as a "z". After changing it to the number "2", the activation went right through. But thanks to all your inputs, gents.

You have to be careful when installing Accel IF you bought Gold edition. There are two stickers, one for deluxe, and one for accel. Make ssure you are looking at the right key if you have gold.
