Ten killed on heliskiing tour in Kamchatka - A good friend of mine (aka. skiguide posted in photo section) has done this trip with some customers 6 years ago: same helo, same pilot... Sad to see it again that way! Embarrassed

Indeed, though it sounds quite absurd: the helo dropped the boarders and landed several feet below them to pick them up again after the ride - it's assumed that the downwash caused the avalanche... Undecided
