Awesome Roy. I love it.  Smiley
I did an old sailing ship a while back, but it was not the best model for a repaint and did not compare with your paint job, not even close.

Thanks!  Give the Costa Brava a shot.  It's fairly easy to paint, and that big sail lends itself to just about anything.

I am envious beyond words of you guys who can do repaints. I have been trying to figure out Google SketchUp 7 for over a year. Can't get anywhere with it...

Sketchup doesn't have anything to do with repaints  Cheesy
Get a plane with a simple paintkit, paint it, and that's the major part. Then you could just ask if you'll have problems moving it to FS.

You need DXTBmp and a decent paint program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. Go to Help Tutorials and download Repainting Textures with Paint Shop Pro and read it. There are other tutorials around and you can ask questions and get answers (most of the time) in Design Forums/Aircraft Repainting.

Here is where I give you the
'WARNING, REPAINTING IS VERY ADDICTIVE'.

As a matter of fact, it's been my experience that many of the textures for a lot of Kazunori Ito's add-ons can be opened directly, and edited, in your image editor of choice (Including Windows "Paint"), without using DXTBmp. I think that is because they are regular .BMP's, and do not have an Alpha channel(And I don't think one can be added, even using DXTBmp).

Thanks for the compliments, guys!

(I think I have a Viking ship somewhere...  [wanders off, looking for the Viking ship...])
