Which should I get, it's either one or the other.
A2A's P-47 or A2A's B-17 (Both with the accusim) I don't have a $120 to spend, but I have a $60. So which would you get?

Whichever type, fighter or multi-engine, you prefer to fly.  The B17 has more systems than the P47 so is probably more engrossing even when things aren't going wrong.

well the B17 has crew that helps you do stuff.
Both aircraft are works of art, and both  are as real as they can get. The B17 as of not does not support shared cockpit, where I think the P47 does.
Some of the main things the b17 has, that the other a2a doesn't is a maintenance report, which allows you to know how well, or bad you did on the last flight and what was damaged. Also
In the b17 tires can ware out and burst open when you land. On the p47 the gears can get jammed.

It is all about style and what you like to fly most, fast planes, or slow planes, short trips or long trips.

I have a friend who spends and absurd amount of money and time on FSX...so naturally I go to him for advice when I’ve got a little left-over cash which I can spend on payware. He’s got both the P-47 and the B-17 from A2A and in his opinion the B-17 is the more interesting aircraft to fly. Both the P-47 and the B-17 are extremely enjoyable to fly...but in his mind he finds the B-17 offers that little bit extra attention to detail. The ‘crew assistance’ is very impressive.
I on the otherhand would choose the P-47 over the B-17 as I’m less of a serious virtual pilot and prefer simply to mess around. If you’re like me there are not many aircraft available better suited to you than the A2A P-47.
Hope I’ve helped.

I own both and I find myself climbing in the cockpit of the P-47 a lot more often than the B-17.  It's a fun bird to fly and very realistic, and if you forget to put your mask on you will pass out after flying above FL100 too long haha.

The B-17 is a great bird and I am so happy I bought it, great sounds, very realistic, great interior model  But I tend to have more fun in the 47, unless I'm in the mood for a long ride.  I would say eventually get the B-17 but grab the 47 first.

Thanks everyone for their comments, but especially you, Olderndirt.
I never really thought of it like that, so my choice would be the P-47, now I just gotta convince my dad  Grin
