WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

Judge Cloud9 says:
“Everyone's shots were awesome and I had a terribly hard time choosing. Thank you for this opportunity! Smiley

Mitch!!

...

"The abundance of planes really shows the superiority of the air force. It all just seems to fit. Plus the colors are wonderful."

CONGRATULATIONS Mitch!!!!

"Skoker takes second place!"

...

"Wonderful composition. The carrier adds an effect that makes the shot.  This shot just blew me away."

ManuelL takes home third!'

...

"This shot really shows the superiority part. Focusing on the gun turret was a wonderful way to think outside the box and convey the message. Wonderful idea."

Nice work on a great comp!

I'm on the bench this week! Can't wait to see what I come up with for a theme. Smiley
A big congratulations to the other finalists, and great job to all that entered.

Cheers

Mitch.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Anyone with suggestions as to how I can get tilted perspectives for taking photos (like the last example picture)? I tried one of those free camera programs but could not figure out how to tilt the screen in FSX....  Embarrassed

Thanks, B

You need to add a camera setting in the aircrafts .cfg.

Example:
Code:
[CameraDefinition.0]
Title = "Right Side Window"
Guid = {54F54B8A-3EC2-2D4E-8D10-B8F9D0F16ACC}
Description = View of the right wing from the passenger cabin
Origin = Center
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = FALSE
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = FALSE
Track = None
ShowAxis = FALSE
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.9
ShowWeather = Yes
InitialXyz = 3.2, 1.8, -5
InitialPbh = 5, 0, 100
XyzAdjust = TRUE
Category=Aircraft
MomentumEffect=TRUE
ClipMode=Minimum

Then you can adjust it by adjusting the Eye point left/right/foreward... in the fsx settings.  Then you need a controller with a hat switch to adjust the angles. Wink

I'm a long way from being contest ready, but I'll try with this.

Good luck all.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
