part 1 of the Olympic experience... (aircraft and navy boats only)

i'll start with part 1 of my trip to Comox CFB during the olympics...
note the refueling pods on the CC-130

1 of the 3 patrol boats, photo of the frigate will come much later

look at how dark the tail of the cormorant is... we should at least wash it once in a blue moon

what the heck... here is a preview of things to come

The cormorant does look a bit used, doesn't it!

what do you call the white lines coming off the blades of the C-130 again???

Carriers would be so mush easier to land on if they would just stop turning!!!

Haha good point...

video is awesome! when I worked at YXX we had a CF-18 drop in every once in awhile... they took off the same way, with the low transition.

in about 2 weeks i will have a compilation video of all the aircraft i saw during the olympics as well as a couple short shots of the frigate and a convoy of patrol boats floating away... i was thinking that when the boats where sailing away for the last time... there was some sailor singing "Come Sail Away"
