Another in my learning phase - Repaints 101.  This is the default FSX Beaver, hence the black registration on the vertical tail - don't know how to be rid of it.                              ...                              The waterway is Yes Bay, in the Ketchikan area.                              ...

Nice.  Smiley
My sister state, Louisiana's state bird, is the mosquito, the insect not the aircraft, and the reason there are no longer any ducks there.  Roll Eyes

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Nice paint!

I spent two years in Anchorage and had a t-shirt showing the mosquito as the state bird of Alaska Grin

I've posted this in the Repaints section also, I have worked out how to solve your problem, good news, It's not your painting that's the problem it's the aircraft.cfg.

currently an entry looks like this
atc_id=N9766Z
make it look like this
atc_id=
(delete the
N9766Z
bit) and see if your worries disappear.

The default aircraft serials are not painted on, they are a font produced by the sim this is the same for FS2004.

Dang, I forgot all about that Bruce. Good catch.  Smiley Just goes to show how NOT to get tunnel vision while repainting.
