I am thinking of buying the      PCI-E 1024MB 9500GT INNO3D GDDR3 128BIT graphics card, and wondering of anyone have one and is it worth the money?

It's a slow, entry-level card. It's OK if you are not after a large amount of performance, have a slow CPU, or don't have the money to buy something faster.

...pushing your luck a bit, Jake?... Roll Eyes...

Its a little bit short of memory at 128 MB.... Cry...!....re-read it...Wink...!

My nVidia, AGP slot, GS7800 256 MB, runs FS 2004 a dream tho', maxed out...
....together with my ancient Socket A  AMD 2600+ MMX (2.1 GHz)...
...and 2 GB of RAM....

..and a good quality 750 Watt PSU...very important!

It will even run FSX at some very slightly reduced settings... Smiley...!

So all is not lost!... Smiley...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator... Cool...!

P.S....and I don't "Overclock" anything!... Wink...!

I am still hanging on (lovingly) to my Gigabyte Socket A, AGP Motherboard, so I am now at the limit in what I can upgrade on it....but it all works OK...and suits my FS 2004... Kiss...!

hehe, my FS9 work fine - not the highest setting though. But my FSX is a total no-go at the moment. hoping the new graphics card will help a bit.

The thing I like about FS 2004, is that it will run lovely even on an out-dated Computer system...(like mine!).... Smiley...!

I just wish more simmers would give FS 2004 a try*, and spend time enjoying it (flying), instead of being constantly grounded and  disappointed with their FSX, and trying to work miracles!...Wink...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS2004....(and FSX).... Wink... Smiley...!

* ...and save loadsa money!.... Wink.... Grin....!
