Goodly afternoon all... Smiley

Now it is a lot harder than it looks trying to stay in formation on a sensitive computer like mine.
I could almost hear my old Squadron Leader chewing me out.
"Doug you retched little critter"
"Doug you animated mop rag"
You call that formation flying?  The rest I can not type for I would be banned from here forever.   Lips Sealed   Roll Eyes

Comments and advice most welcome.

Nice shots, isn't a little hard to do formations with those? being if you go under a low low speed you stall, as in wait for the people in the back?

Hi Tai-2... Smiley

You can fly formation in any type of aircraft or types together.  It takes practice, experience and training in real life.
The computer or at least mine is very sensitive to control so it is not hard to slip out of formation while flying on the computer.
The DeHavilland DHC-3 Otter is a light utility aircraft with STOL capabilities therefore very easy to fly in formation in real life with the proper training.  Much like the old Harvard, Chipmunk and "T" Bird were.
We have actually rolled and looped the Otter with no problem at all.  The original P&W R1340 was a little underpowered for the Otter and was the same engine used in the Harvard.
Sorry can not comment on the Turbo Otter as I never was qualified on them.

Looked at number one and thought 'this should be good' but you tricked me  Smiley.  Wouldn't it be great if you could get what's his name - he's on here quite a bit, to paint your entire squadron.  Liked the shot over the airport

I'm pretty sure this is the fomation flying tool and the link to it that is being used.  http://www.mudpond.org/

Formation Flight Toys for FSX

Use this set of utility programs with Microsoft's Flight Simulator X to create up to four AI-controlled aircraft that fly in loose formations

I downloaded it and I'm going to see how well it works.

Well it works and flies just fine, but I don't. Lots of fun, but it's going to take a lot of practice. I don't think becoming a Blue Angel is in my future.

Thanks Bob... Smiley

I have a habit of deleting these things sometimes by mistake... Grin

When I go to find it there is nothing.  Need to start putting things in a folder to save.  Will start one now so I have things.   Wink
