If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks.  Smiley I painted this one a few months back, right after I did Skyboss. I just have not flown her lately. This is the aircraft I put on a Cafepress mug for my son. He loves Corsairs, as do I. Nothing in the air sounds or looks like them.

Yup. According to my information, he never actually flew the particular bird I have the picture of. It was a mock up for a photo op. But, the same data says the copy was accurate. And yes, that is an awful lot of kills.

Thanks.  Smiley
I've been into warbird for a long time, I just don't fly them a lot, for whatever reason. I guess a lot of it is due to my lack of military AI, other than modern Navy. And I don't have the fps to run MAIW's at full slider. Plus my favorite F-14 has been dead for a long time, and I have no idea why.

Think he got 26 before being captured and imprisoned in Japan.  Met him once, when I was a teenager in Denver.  He had a book signing in conjunction with getting his son started in the AF Academy.  Still have the book, signed Gregory 'Pappy' Boyington - quite a guy.
