Mic got me started with his photos of Florence. I downloaded a software for creating HDR shots.
At the moment we don't have the right weather for going out and taking photos. So I took an old shot (somewhere in Scotland) and made a fake HDR (combining a darkened and brightened version of the shot) just to test the software.
Works quite nicely. Looks a bit unreal, but is a lot of fun. Hopefully the weather will improve a little and I can try some real HDR shots next week.
Thanks for looking
Manuel

That is pretty nice. Mic and your photos are beginning to get me interested in HDR.

It's a composition of the bits that make up the program.
Copypasta from the Qtpfsgui Wiki page:
Qt: the program uses Qt4 (
http://www.trolltech.com
) to show its graphical widgets.
pfs: the main backend library and original sourcecode base.
gui: this stands simply for graphical user interface.

Well done HDR without the tone-mapping that most people think is HDR...........your image here covers a very nice range between the Highlights and Shadow areas.......increasing the full latitude of brightness levels which is troublesome to digital sensors.........
