It's new to me!

I've recently been looking into replacement options for my HD 3870, when I came across this.

Apperently, the next "big thing" from the green team will be called the GTX 480. Introduction price is rumored to be around the $800 mark. That's all I know.

Let the drooling begin! Cool

BTW, the English translation from Dutch is a bit sketchy.

Specs: Asus Crosshair nForce 590 SLI,
AMD Athlon X2 6400+ w/ZeroTherm BTF90,
4GB G.Skill PI Series DDR2-800,
Sapphire HD4870 512MB,
PC P&C 750 Quad, in a CoolerMaster HAF932

Huh, apparently I was misinformed...

I thought this next line of cards was due next month or so... it seems that there's some waiting to be done still...

And, 800 bucks??!!  Shocked dear god!!

I might be looking at the 300 series or even ATI now... since my trusty 8800 GTX is not so trusty anymore after the oven fix... well, at least it works... but I will need to replace it soon I think...

Cheers

Not that I was going to get one, but that's still good to know.
