that's exacly what I was talking about hours ago with a friend ,FSX turns upsidedown the own nature of virtual flying as it used to be in the times of FS2004 and before ,now Its all about how to tweak and a competition of who buy the best hardware, I'd say If I were MS I would gather another Team and fix this one who has a lot of problems and release  new Flight Simulator (Maybe FS11) I'm sure it will be a hit I would personally run to buy it
I won't denie that this software has a much better realism and much better graphic than the previous version BUT has Unfixable problems that it need to be fix from it root or make a better version and without SPs.

Its Like what they did with VISTA ,They fix it ,remove all the trash and finally release it again with the name of Windows 7 ,which it rocks ,I didn't know this BTW ,I though it was anothr entire new O/S, but its the same VISTA but IT WORK FINE!

  they should do the same with FSX

I 'm running mine with a 2.2 processer, 1000ram, 256 ATI video card. And the best thing about learning how to tweek FSX, was I also learned alot about how a computer works. All I can say is that my sim runs smooth and FSX, It's just a labor of love!
